The jobholder will guide and supervise assigned personnel in the Production Technology section; conduct, co-ordinate and schedule in depth research into performance of surface facilities i.e. water injection and oil/gas production systems with the objective of offering appropriate medium and long term solutions of recurrent problems; participate in identifying the need to upgrade and/or modify installed facilities and define the scope and extent of the work involved to take care of short and long term reservoir development and varying production modes; initiate / co-ordinate and schedule studies related to the exploitation of improved production applications for wells located in problematic reservoir areas such as stimulation, fracturing, horizontal drilling, artificial lifting, etc. To qualify you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in petroleum / Chemical engineering with 8 years experience of all aspects of Petroleum Engineering operations.
Based in Abu Dhabi this is a Contract Hire position for a period of six (6) months.
